Dr. Reshmy Vijayaraghavan

Dr. Reshmy Vijayaraghavan graduated from Kerala Agricultural University, secured her Ph.D degree in Agrl.(Pl.Pathology) in 2007 from KAU, Vellanikkara, Thrissur. She is the recipient of the ‘Young Scientist Award’ of the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) in the year 2008 among the discipline Agriculture, Veterinary and Fisheries for her PhD work. She started her career as Assistant Professor in 2010 at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ambalavayal, Wayanad where she served the station for five years. Thereafter,she was posted at Dept. of Plant Pathology, College of Horticulture, Vellanikkara, Thrissur in 2015 where she is engaged in teaching UG, PG and PhD courses and is also guiding PG students of the Department of Plant Pathology. Currently she is handling two research projects funded by external agencies. She has more than sixty publications to her credit and has bagged three best poster awards for the research papers presented in various National and International Symposia. She is currently holding the charge of Professor Academic, Kerala Agricultural University.
