Anu Mary Markose

Smt. Anu Mary Markose has completed her graduation in Agriculture from Kerala Agricultural University, College of Agriculture, Vellayani, post-graduation in Horticulture from College of Agriculture, Vellanikkara. Her research programme was on the “Evaluation and value addition of watery rose apple (Syzygium aqueum (Burm) Alston) and Malay apple (Syzygium malaccense (L.) Mernil and Perry)”. She has around 10 publications including research communications, conference papers and popular articles. Her areas of research include post-harvest management and processing of fruits and vegetables. She has experience in teaching as Teaching Assistant at College of Veterinary and Animal sciences, Pookot for eight months and four years experience in research. Her extension experience includes the tenure as Agricultural Officer in Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Kerala for 2.5 years. She is the recipient of best paper award (Second Prize) for the paper entitled Pectin concentrate from Jack fruit rind presented in the National Symposium on “Waste management- experiences and strategies” held at College of Horticulture, Vellanikkara from 5th to 7th January 2011
