Dr. Abida P.S.

Dr. Abida.P.S  has obtained her Ph.D(Biotechnology)  from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University and M.Sc. (Crop Physiology) From, UAS, GKVK, Bangalore . She has 28 years of academic and research experience in KAU.  Her research areas are Transcriptome and proteome  analysis  in  biotic and abiotic stress, Molecular markers, Immunodiagnostics & Computational analysis. She has published 62 research papers in highly reputed journals like Genome, DNA and Cell Biology, Journal of Experimental Biology, Current Science, Plant Physiology, Journal of crop science, BMC Biology and Biotechnology etc, book chapters and book. She has supervised 21 Post Graduate students, 3 Ph.D. students and one Post Doctoral fellow. She has also supervised about 65 students from other Universities and Institutions. She has completed 12 external aided and State Plan projects and five projects are ongoing. She has participated and presented her work in many national and international seminars.
