Dr. Mercykutty, M. J.

The areas of interests of Dr. Mercykutty, M. J. are women empowerment, NRM and impact analysis of development programmes. She has been the Course Teacher of Rural Agricultural Work Experience Programme (RAWEP) for more than 10 times in KAU at two campuses, CoA Padannakkad and CoH Vellanikkara. She has received the DST-IIPA Bronze Medal  for securing the third rank among the participants in the National level Training Programme (70 days) viz. Seventh Foundation Training Programme(2007)  for Scientists and Technologists organized by Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), New Delhi sponsored by Department of Science &Technology, Govt. of India. She attended the “Exposure Visit to Scientific laboratories and institutions in Taiwan” during   2010 under the Scheme "National Programme for Training of Scientists and Technologists working in Government” sponsored by Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India based on her performance in the above mentioned Foundation Programme. She has also undergone training programmes at Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad and Lal Bahadur Sastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussuri. She has been selected as a guest resource faculty of Kerala Institute of Local Administration (KILA),Thrissur.
