• Thirteen years of experience in teaching, research and extension activities in the field of Agricultural Entomology.

•  Advanced Integrated Pest Management, bio-inputs for pest management (Ph. D)
• Pests of horticultural and plantation crops, Insect morphology, Biological control of insect pests and weeds (M.Sc.)

Projects handled

• Completed seven external aided projects and three plan projects as Principal Investigator and ten as Co-Principal Investigator.  Presently handling two state plan project as PI.

•  Guided five M.Sc. and one (PhD) students as Major Advisor.

• Participated in nine national/International Seminars/workshops and  three national level advanced training programmes  on Molecular mechanisms involved in conferring abiotic stress tolerance to the biological control agents Chrysoperla, Trichogramma, Trichoderma and Pseudomonas from 1st to 21st December 2011 at NBAII, Bangalore, Orientation Programme (IT-Oriented) conducted by U.G.C-Human resource development centre University of Kerala” and Facets in Biopesticide and Botanical Formulation Production” from 28-11-2018 to 18-12-1018 at the department of Agricultural Entomology, Coimbatore

• Attended two specialized short term trainings/ workshops attended  on Skill development training for 14 days on “Molecular biology and bioinformatics tools for advanced life science research” organized by School of Applied Animal production and Biotechnology, Mannuthy during 1st to 14th August 2019 and “Application of computational biology in studying abiotic stress in insects” under NABG project from 05-03-2012 to 17-03-2012 at NBAII Bangalore
