• 28 years of experience in teaching, research and extension activities in the field of Agricultural Entomology.

• Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) during 1994 by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) to pursue doctoral research
• Acarology Development Foundation fellowship - Ohio State University, Columbus, USA during 2017
• Best research paper (Oral presentation) - I st International Conference on Biological Control Approaches and Applications, Bengaluru during 2018
• Received the first Best Teacher Award of Kerala Agricultural University during 2019 when the award was constituted for the first time
• Received Best oral presentation award - International Conference on Plant Health Management (ICPHM 2023)” held at PJTSAU, Hyderabad during November 2023
