Dr. Sible George Varghese

Dr. Sible George Varghese graduated from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University and began his career in KAU in 2005 as Assistant Professor at College of Agriculture, Padannakkad, Kasaragod. Later he served at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kumarakom and Regional Agricultural Research Station, Kumarakom. He is specialized in Biological Control of Plant Pathogens and has guided two M. Sc. (Ag.) students in their thesis research. He had been earlier awarded Dr. K.S. Krishnan Research Associateship to work at Nuclear Agriculture and Biotechnology Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai during 2004. He is also presently holding the charge of Associate Director of Research (Plant Protection) at KAU.
