A brief note on Major professional attainments:

  • Obtained B.sc. (Hons.) Ag. degree from Kerala Agricultural University, Thrissur with distinction (8.79 OGPA)
  • Secured ICAR JRF seat (All India level rank 24) for M.Sc. (Ag.) in Plant Breeding and Genetics at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu through ICAR-AIEEA-PG-2012 examination.
  • Obtained University level First Rank in M.Sc. (Ag.) in Plant Breeding and Genetics from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University during 2012-2014 with 9.4 OGPA.
  • M.Sc. (Ag.) research work was focused on developing sorghum downy mildew resistant lines which was the need of the hour for sorghum farmers. During the course of the thesis work, molecular screening using SSR markers was carried out.
  • Published over five full length research articles.
